What problems should we pay attention to when choosing tempered glass?
1. Look at the debris: you can see whether the corner waste cut by the merchant has become small obtuse particles after crushing, according to which to judge whether it is qualified. When the qualified tempered glass is broken, the number of fragments in the 50mm × 50mm area must be more than 40, a small number of long pieces are allowed, the glass slag can not be blade like, the trend of the long pieces and the edge of the glass should be roughly parallel, if not parallel, the included Angle should not exceed 45 degrees. If any item fails to meet the standard, it is deemed as unqualified product.
2. Look at the stress spot: in some special natural light (or polarized light) conditions, observe the reflected light of tempered glass, can see the glass surface there is light and dark stripes, this inconsistent brightness stripes called stress spots. At present, the most advanced technology in the world can not completely eliminate stress spots, but can reduce. The lighter the stress spot, the better the quality.
3. See flatness: the flatness of tempered glass is slightly worse than that of annealed glass, and the flatness should be selected by comparison.
4. See whether after homogenizing treatment: self-detonation is the inherent characteristic of toughened glass, it is difficult to avoid. However, more than 90 percent of the self-detonation risk can be eliminated by homogenizing treatment. When choosing, be sure to look at the product manual to find out whether it has been homogenized.
5. See if there's a 3C stamp on the glass. Tempered equipment factories are all qualified and will print 3C marks on the processed glass. Safety glass must be marked with 3C according to regulations.
